- Case analysis
Processing capacity: 1500 gallons (approximately 5.67 cubic meters). Although the total volume is moderate to small, the processing difficulty is extremely high.
Oil water ratio: Water phase accounts for 88%, oil phase accounts for 12%. According to this, the system is very likely to be oil in water lotion.
Core challenge: High emulsification. This is the decisive factor in the selection of this case. The high emulsification state means that the oil droplet size is extremely small (usually at the micrometer or even nanometer level), which results in poor performance of conventional gravity separation and air flotation processes, and places extremely high demands on the equipment’s demulsification ability and bubble refinement.
- Core considerations
Based on the above working conditions, equipment selection is mainly based on the following points:
Demulsification ability: for high emulsification characteristics, the equipment is required to produce strong shear force and turbulence effect to effectively destroy the stability of lotion.
Bubble particle size: Equipment that can generate a high proportion of nanoscale bubbles should be selected to ensure that they can fully collide and adhere with fine oil droplets, achieving efficient separation.
Material and Corrosion Resistance: All overcurrent components of the equipment must be made of stainless steel or other high-quality corrosion-resistant materials to ensure long-term stability and service life.
- Equipment selection plan
Matching processing capacity: The total processing capacity of the customer is approximately 5.67 cubic meters. Considering the high concentration and long residence time of ultrafine bubbles generated by micro nano bubble generators, which have a sustained effect, a device with a rated processing capacity of 1-2 m ³/h can effectively cover about 8 cubic meters of water. After comprehensive evaluation, the equipment model X-MN-1100 (processing capacity: 2 m ³/h) was ultimately selected.
Technical parameter verification: The bubble particle size range generated by this model is between 200nm and 50μm, which meets the requirements for bubble refinement in the treatment of highly emulsified wastewater.
Efficiency improvement configuration: To maximize equipment performance, it is recommended that customers configure an additional oxygen generator module with a flow rate of 5 L/M for shared use. This can significantly improve the overall effectiveness and separation efficiency of the bubble group.
