Customer requirement: The entire circulating water system should be cleaned and sterilized. The final concentration of ozone water should be 0.5ppm, and it should be exposed for ten minutes.
1. System Components
The ozone purification system for the cosmetic company’s pure water is retrofitted based on the existing purification system. The main additional equipment includes an ozone control cabinet, ozone dosing and detection unit, and off-gas destruction unit. A system component diagram is shown in Figure 1.

The ozone control cabinet contains an ozone generator, oxygen generator, and ozone dosing control unit, which controls the ozone dosing process. The ejector (SL) serves for gas-liquid mixing, i.e., dissolving ozone into water for disinfection and purification. The ozone analyzer is used to detect the ozone concentration in water.
The circulation pump in the system utilizes the original circulation pump.
2. Purification Work Program
The ozone purification process is divided into 3 work programs:
The first program is the ozone dissolution process. The work program is: Solenoid valve S1 opens, S2 and S3 close, circulation pump M operates for water circulation, while ozone is continuously dissolved into the circulating water via the ejector SL. As ozone dissolution time increases, the ozone analyzer can show a gradual increase in the ozone concentration in water, with purification effectiveness improving accordingly.
The second program is the ozone decomposition process. The work program is: The ozone generator is turned off, the UV decomposition lamp is activated, and circulation pump M continues water circulation. As the ozone decomposition time extends, the ozone analyzer will show a gradual decrease in the ozone concentration in water until it falls below the permissible residual level specified by the process.
The third program is the purified water supply process. The work program is: Solenoid valve S1 closes, S2 or S3 opens as needed, or both open simultaneously, to deliver the treated purified water via circulation pump M.
