Case Details
The client’s existing pool has a volume of 1500 m³ and a filtration rate of 200 m³/hr. It is an outdoor pool equipped with a conventional filtration system, chlorine dosing, and overflow water circulation. Considering the climatic characteristics of Thailand and the client’s requirements, this plan details the ozone disinfection system for the pool.

The client’s existing system will be upgraded with an ozone generator and a Venturi mixer. The ozone produced will be injected directly into the water stream through the Venturi. To ensure effective treatment, an ozone contact tank will be added to extend reaction time, followed by a dissipation tank and a gas destruct unit to safely break down any residual ozone before the treated water is returned to the pool.
Advantage Analysis
Adaptability to Hot and Humid Environments. The reaction tank can stably control the contact time between ozone and water. In the hot and humid environment of Thailand, this ensures a full reaction and reduces the risk of ozone residue.
The mechanical dissipation method is mainly used, which is not affected by water quality fluctuations and is suitable for intermittent operation modes.
Low Cost. Maintenance is simple. Only regular inspection of the pipeline tightness and the cleanliness of the reaction tank are required. This helps to keep the operating cost at a relatively low level.
High Safety. The multi – stage dissipation design (reaction tank + dissipation tank) minimizes the risk of ozone leakage, which fully complies with the safety standards of the site.

Equipment Selection
An ozone generator with a production capacity of 200 g/h is selected. This capacity can meet the disinfection requirements of the 1500 m³ pool with a filtration rate of 200 m³/hr.
